Is this for a gentler dog, or might it last a few weeks with a lab?
It's rubber. Harder to rip. They may pick at it depends on the dog. The squeaker looks like it's in the butt. My dog went and dislodged our old squeaker tubing and now it doesn't grunt anymore

All depends on what your dog does with it. If it likes to just squeak it then it might last awhile but if he's a chewer you can forget it. I don't own this particular toy yet but I can tell it'll be chewed through in minutes. I'm debating picking it up as a throwaway toy as I think my dog will like the grunting but I also think he'll ruin it pretty quick.

It's 'soft rubber' and it's very thin. I'm guessing this will be easier to rip than most cloth toys.

My mini Aussie destroys any stuffed toy no matter the size or quality in about 5 min. But we've had various versions of this (balls, pig, hog etc) and she has never ever developed the need to "chew" them. She chomps, paws, thrashes them around, none have broke from that.
Id say give it a shot. It would be easy to destroy if the dog really tries to, but for some reason this is one thing my dog loves to play with but not tear apart
