Going for $111 on eBay at the moment. Most powerful cordless 18v-20v router on the market according to YouTube reviews.

It should be noted that you must purchase through a 3rd party seller to get the $120 price. It's currently showing $149 sold & shipped by Amazon.

I haven't had much opportunity to use a router, but is cordless a big deal for this tool? For something like a Reciprocating saw, or a drill, or an oscillating tool I get it, because you will need those tools wherever the project takes you. Is there much cause to use a router outside of a workshop setting? Genuinely curious question for those who use these.

Depends on the user but I find it nice to not have to worry about a cord when using a palm router. I have this and a corded Bosch Colt and I prefer the Dewalt for trim stuff, even when used almost exclusively in the shop.

Got mine for 130 not too long ago. I've used it a bunch for flush cutting out windows in new construction framing. It works well!

Got this at $96 using the battery "hack" last year, not sure if it'll ever get that low again though.

The cord is restricting and gets in the way. This is much easier to store, is lighter than a full sized router, your work doesn't need to be near an outlet, and it's generally ready to work faster than corded. My corded router is set up in my router table.

I got one of these in mid 2021 from ebay / Sunshine Tool Depot for ~130 + tax. Definitely say it's worth the price I paid (and better at less!), especially if you've got a stack of Dewalt batteries. It's held up well to hobbyist use. This doesn't come with a whole lot of accessories, so if you're looking for a full kit to get started, this isn't it.
