How many points do you need to redeem to use the % off? I remember it used to be something trivial like $1 or less.

use exactly 1 point to pay 1 penny. do not use any more points because amazon's conversion rate is a rip off.

Have you tried that recently? Last time I was eligible for this offer I had to redeem at least $5 worth of points (714 points IIRC).
