Fyi the Kobalt 3 piece tongue and groove pliers set often goes on sale for the same price and you get the 12 inch pliers with that set.
If there's one tool you don't have an excuse to not get USA made, channel locks are it. Yes, the real thing is twice this price, but the teeth will likely last 2-4x as long and your money is going to a domestic company that takes pride in its products instead of a Chinese conglomerate.

I bought this pair a few years ago.

Also 50%ish of my tools are craftsman so I hold no ill will towards craftsman.

However, after very light use once a month for 2 years now, household stuff, they have began rusting badly.

I store them in my organized toolbox also properly after each use. I would not buy these again, but if you just need a pair to last like new for a few years then this is the pair for you.

When you open them for a specific size they tend to break loose. Maybe I just received a bad one lol

Sucks that Craftsman still uses the "WE BUILD PRIDE" slogan while making everything in china now. Quite the slap in the nuts

Craftsman males lots of tools in the USA now, but sadly these are made in China.

Channel Lock is a brand name of US made hand tools. Very affordable for the quality.

Sorry, should have been more specific. "Channellock" is the US brand I'm referring to (which, confusingly is what most people call tongue and groove pliers, which Channellock invented)
