It looks like the list of participating retailers has been drastically reduced — Home Depot / Advance Auto / Autozone / Oreilly (to name a few I can recall) are now all INELIGIBLE!
Per the fine print:
"Sponsor may amend, modify, cancel or extend this offer, at any time, without notice."
Buyer beware, pennzoil's track record with these rebates is on the decline.

Can't find 5W-20
Napa is selling for $63.99 (5 qt) lol
Advance Auto has all 3 (0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30) at $41.99.
Wanted to try out the Ultra Platinum at least once due to BITOG. I just use Mobil1 from Costco (6 individual quart packs). Wasn't supper happy with the Kirkland 5 Qt jug even though it was super cheap ($25?). I do 6k OCIs (have done Blackstone, but am pissed with their over 1 month wait the past two months). Think I'm going to move to a different oil analysis lab.
I don't care about the rebate but I do care about stuff like this. I will never buy their oil ever again

At the Pennzoil.com website print at the bottom of the rebate form (I bolded):
"NOTE: Purchases made on a retailer's website require receipt with order confirmation/order number and shipping confirmation or final delivery/pick-up receipt. Orders that are canceled and/or product returns are ineligible for this offer."
The "and" part means TWO things are required: the receipt from retailer AND the shipping confirmation or pick-up receipt.
So if ordering online, wait till you get your shipping confirmation before you fill out the form & upload the screenshots.
Fu...k em,..my local autoparts stores good for dumping used oil only, don't remember last time i bought something from them.
It just proves that they really don't want to give the rebate. I'll stick with Costco oil when it's on sale. Right now it's 31.99 shipped or 30.99 in store for 2 five quart jugs

People are really crazy about oil brands. Fact is any oil that has you standard oil is going to work.
When was the last time you heard of someones car dying because of the oil brand they use?
In fact using the cheaper brands let's you change the oil more often at a lower cost.
