Folks will buy 3 games to get the discount and then return 2 of the games. They end up getting the game they keep at a discount. I can't remember the details because I've never bothered with that crap. Dude a couple posts above complains about Target being stingy yet is completely oblivious to grasping that he and the others doing that crap will eventually ruin the deal for everyone so they can get their one title a bit cheaper. If I were Target, I'd put my foot down on these folks rather than ruin the deal for everyone but unfortunately, that's often not how the world works.
This has always been a thing targets allowed with the buy x get x sales. The items are prorated to the cost total divided 3 ways, prorated to the titles actual value.

If target did not want this to keep happening they would have stopped it 10 years ago, at this point you have to think target is just ok with it.

I only did this recently with a video game, but honestly I don't feel bad as a consumer getting a good price for a product I want to purchase.

So silly seeing people stick up for multi billion dollar corporations and step on the average consumer.

This will be epic if it works on pre-orders.
4K Abyss, True Lies, and Aliens on March 12!
It says it excludes preorders

To maximize this deal, I need to find 2 board games that are a similar price.
I looked through and have listed games from my wishlist that are favorably reviewed in board game circles.
And I have listed them in order so you can find 2 games of similar value.

HeroQuest $135
Twilight Imperium 4th ed $132
Everdell is $70
Arkham Horror 3rd ed $64
Cthulhu deck building $60
Dead of Winter $56
Dune Imperium $55
Formula D $52
Earth $50 (considered best of 2023)
Betrayal at Baldurs gate $48
Wingspan $47
Root $45
Dixit $40
Quacks of Quedlinburg $40
Azul $33
Marvel Dice throne games $22
Hero quest is/was ~$50 at GameStop/Amazon BTW.

You can always order 2x of whatever game you want from this list and immediately cancel one to get your 25% off. That's the best option rather than settling for a lesser discount.

Sometimes really early on things not normally available for the promo work for it, such as preorders or regular stuff like first party Nintendo.

It is working for many 4K preorders now like True Lies, Abyss and Aliens but sadly no Hunger Games Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

I'm hoping amazon matches the sale. With any luck, they'll attach the promo to items already at a greater discount than target.

Targets website is a mess.

But that's what happens when you sell out, and start hosting third party sellers.

Walmart and Target are largely unusable now.

This website is called "SlickDeals," not "DampDeals."

Tricks/system manipulations short of wire fraud/theft are how this website stay active and folks get excited. 😭
