These are not Keurig pods. These are aluminum pods that work with Nespresso classic machines. Both are different systems. I have used this brand of capsules and they are good. For this price, it looks like a good deal.

Will never buy this brand again. I have a Whirlpool commercial brewer that runs off 5gal tanks of distilled water. This thing makes a better cup of coffee than any other Keurig machine (Keurig actually guaranteed this at the time of product development for licensing/advertising purposes). Well, I tried a box of Lavazza from another "deal" a few weeks back and about 1/4 of the cups had a bunch of grounds in them.

To be fair the Whirlpool is a Turbo Brewer so basically the filter in these is too poorly/cheaply made to handle brewing any faster than similar to a "gravity" feed it would seem. Or they were defective from the start, no way to tell but I dissected three of them and it wasn't from the needle as they were leaking up toward the to of the cup more.

The original flavor ended up at 19 cents a pod which is great for these…I've been doing light roast lately so pulled the trigger for those at 27 cents per pod…still a great deal for Lavazza aluminum capsules (Note that these sucked when they used plastic capsules but now they very good)…

It's a good deal (23 cents/ capsule) if one likes the medium intensity. I personally would only pull the trigger for the more intense varieties. I got 60 of the 12-intensity Lavazza capsules for $15 back in September 2023. Not as good as Nespresso, but for the price still worth it.

Where did you see original flavor being 19 cents per?

I'm just wondering if I should buy the original machine or go with the new vertuo machines. Any recommendation is appreciated. Thanx

Vertuo machines are usually cheaper, make better coffee but pods are usually more than a dollar each. Original machines became expensive recently but pods are way cheaper and 3rd party pods are available (Peet's, Starbucks etc). If you drink 2 or more coffees a day, original machine would be cheaper in the long run.

The legacy machines are great due to pod deals like this. The LOR and peets pods are a really good value. The size of some of them is great, as I frequently bring it with me in checked luggage on trips as well. Some of the new units are bulkier.

I do not recommend the Lavazza pods. The taste is just fine, however, you can visibly and audibly notice that your espresso machine works harder to push water through the pod when compared to Nespresso, Starbucks, or Peets pods. I think their aluminum foil is not to Nespresso spec.

I clicked on the coupon at check out and clicked it back again and somehow it applied the coupon twice so I got it for just over $5. No idea how that happened, but worth a shot for someone else.

What if it is that the coffee is ground finer and that is why? Or if there is more coffee in these? The longer it takes to go through, normally the better, as the water is in contact with the coffee longer to extract more coffee.

These taste pretty good. I like these better than the cheap Bestpresso brand on Amazon.
