Its got a 2 year shelf life. I don't know if the 2 years is really valid or not. It apepars to be mostly just spice mixture. but just FYI

Each jar makes 56 cups. 6 packs x 56 cups is a lot of base to use in 2 years.

If like me you have mostly used the cubed bouillon or paste for making broth most of your life, after using this I won't go back. This is a big upgrade to those. It will really improve soups and a game changer in gravy. I also use it in stir frys with great results.

The number one ingredient in this is salt. The number two is the corn sugar maltodextrin. The third is cane sugar. Finally at the fourth ingredient, we see some chicken but there's an unknown quantity of meat to fat.

I buy Minor's. It's a good price, and it has chicken meat as the number one ingredient. I try to keep as much of the real stuff around as possible, but it's great to have some base around in case.
