I got the $349 set without the sub. Nice for that price. I have Sony and Dayton subs which are better, so did not need the sub. They are well built, sound fine, and great for my television. For the "list Price" of $1400, there are better systems.

I have Polk T75 pair fronts and a matching center. These Jamos are tinny especially the s83 center. Dolby uses the center speaker the most. Expected better but you get what you pay.

I really suggest for people to wait until RP-8060FA or just RP-8000F (Atmos overrated) to go on sale for a pair like $550. You would not need a center or sub until you save a bit more money. They do sufficient base for you to begin with, you will be satisfied for a few years until you add others.

Jamo really is the best deal in home audio. made by klipsch

If you are not a HiFi enthusiest and just want good a home thearter system, but this and add some small down firing atmost speakers above your listening positon for an extra $50-$100 bucks.

I ordered a pair of tower speakers and center speaker's deal last month. Adorama sent me a beat up box that looks like it had been through some demolition derby. The tower speakers are damaged upon arrival. They offered a partial refund and I refused. After couple weeks of email exchanged and not happy with the stunt that Adorma is pulling, I told them that I want to cancel the order. They sent a UPS pickup for the towers and I'm still waiting for the refund.

I purchased the walnut rp set that's was on here for $1899 around thanksgiving. all speakers from the set were opened boxes upon arrival. The 8060faii were both damaged and one corner was smashed. After emails I had to remake the boxes (I had already broke them down before even taking the plastic off the speakers) so had to rebuild the boxes smh. After sending back and having to reorder the replacements they both arrived opened and damaged again. One has minor damage on a corner. I did get a price match to the current $1499 but that has also been a weird experience. I can almost guarantee adorama is selling damaged or opened items as new. I asked like 5 times if the items were new factory sealed before sending them and they said yes every time. I think they are purposely sending damaged goods. Currently negotiating again lol.

What's the main give away that it was open box (besides damage)? Looking to QC a set of speakers I just got delivered and want to make sure that they aren't open box. It looks like the cardboard boxes themselves is the branding of the speakers, so if I open it up and get straight into Styrofoam, there really isn't a way to ensure open box status since the box can be taped back together with packing tape? Youtube unboxing videos?

I highly believe Adorama is selling damaged speakers at discount price and then offering a partial refund to whom ever can live with it. Not a good way of doing business. Bait and switch tactic.

Bought a lot of things from Adorama - guitars to computers and speakers. They are a pretty descent company. Never had a problem. I think I'm going to buy this set. Get a bigger sub and atmos speakers. I think it's an awesome deal. Never seen them this low. Just my opinion. FYI

Are Jamo speakers made in China?
I should have said all Jamo C-Series speakers are made and warehoused in China, as were the E-6 series as well. This doesn't change the value at all, just the cost.
