I do 1 cup of vinegar and 1/2 cup alcohol and a few drops of dish soap.

Wow super cheap! Spray liberally and walk away. Let stand 30 mins.

Spray again and wipe clean.

Absolute game changer with zero work for soap scum and lime scale.

80% cheaper per ounce than any other cleaner.

edit; you can add water if you want at this point to dilute it and go farther......that ratio would be

1 part alcohol
2 part vinegar
7 part water 💦

I use this one [amazon.com] for soap scum. Will try your formula for hard water spots. Rubbing alcohol + dish soap also works as a carpet cleaner.

I'm a new homeowner, trying to figure out some good cleaning products for bathrooms. Can someone recommend me good products for toilet/potty cleaning, sinks (water taps,vanity), shower, bath tub, tiles and shower glass door cleaning. Targeting to remove hard brown stains, water stains, rust and soap stains. Thanks in advance 🙏

I would recommend Bar keepers friend powder cleanser for most of them. It has mild oxalic acid and micro abrasives that work very well for non porous surfaces. It can't be used on painted, wood or sealed stone surfaces but works wonders everywhere else.

Dish Soap is an alkaline grease cutter and alcohol is a solvent / grease cutter / disinfectant. None of those are used to get rid of mineral deposits and soap scum, you need an acid based cleaner, you can simply just use Vinegar and get the same results.

Or use this kaboom cleaner which is specifically formulated with hydrogen peroxide (to safely whiten grout) and sulfuric / citric acid which is tough on soap scum and mineral deposits.

Must not be long since I never timed anything. yes being encased in a shower stall with glass all around you want a cheap 😷

Maybe an hour after you rinse it off? Done it plenty of times and never noticed
