Please verify my statements before taking them as gospel, because I have slept since I researched all of that.
I did buy a generic waterproof case for my DJI oa4, because I had a GoPro get dunked and got water intrusion.
Also, if you want a wireless lav mic, you don't have to buy the DJI one. You can use others that have usbc connections (of course, that doesn't work with the waterproof case and certainly makes the oa4 NOT waterproof while the usbc door is open).

The battery life is better than the gp11, but don't expect what they claim.
I don't need an 80 dollar media mod to connect an external mic on the oa4. The magnetic connector is actually really cool and secures with clips so no worries about it coming loose. Better viewing angles..
The way the two handle color is different though. In bright white situations the gp11 will be a brighter white while the oa4 will be more of a natural white. All with default settings anyway.
I film in a hockey rink, stationary, with the extreme batteries. It also just sometimes glitches and says its still recording but not writing anything to the SD card. I am using one of the SD cards on their recommended/supported list.
No overheating issues with the oa4, and the battery life has been better as well. My GoPro will be at ~2-5% at the end of the hockey game. The oa4 will be around 15% sams settings, but oa4 has WiFi on and GoPro has WiFi...and everything else...off.
