This idea has been repeatedly debunked. There is no medical evidence that local honey helps with allergies.

Organic honey is a scam. You absolutely cannot be sure that bees harvest from an "organic" plant. You have no idea how far they may go.

personal opinion here... But the best honey is the local one from a small beekeeper.
It has local pollen to keep the immune system used to it and reduce seasonal allergies, and more likely to be actual honey.
It would definitely cost more, but food may be the area where lowerest price and slickest deal are not the same.
IMHO.

OP - thanks for the post. Bought one; we'll give it a try. Although it's a little more per pound than Costco.

Better to buy local for allergies (among other reasons).

This honey is outstanding. I discovered it about a year ago and it's hard to buy store bought honey now. This is way better. They do also have organic, but the taste is a little different. I like this in teas, on vanilla yogurt or just eating it with a spoon. It's really great honey!

Bought some, thanks. I use honey to sweeten coffee and tea.

Yeah I'd be very suspicious at this price. Maybe Nate has some bionic bees!

I mostly use top shelf honey [amazon.com] these days, but Nate's is pretty good for cooking or on occasions I don't feel like wasting the expensive on.

Just know that this honey usually crystalizes half way through and gets difficult to squeeze out of the bottle unless you use it a lot, everyday.
