FYI the Alexandria,VA store shows on clearance-both brickseek and employee phones. But shows and rings up full price. Wasn't the first person asking about it either according to customer service lol.

$499 all around me in Northeast...everywhere within 60 miles
My store now shows clearance on the makita xgt 40v string trimmer kit - but when I went to go buy it, despite Home Depot confirming it was in stock and on clearance - the price was still $499! Did they make a mistake or is this how Makita items are typically clearanced at first? Eg they are flagged for clearance and show up as "clearance", but price won't actually change until some time after?
