$80/4 is the new price in recent history. Before December the normal price was $100/4

I doubt you'll see another significant price drop before holiday this year.

Not live tracking consistently you would get a ping approximately every 10 minutes if there are other iPhones in the area.

Even if you don't hear it, you can track it, it show you an arrow and how far you are from the item you're looking for. It helps, once you have zero ft you have a very small area to do visual search.
Problem start when people use them for different reason than pun intended, like tracking people, or cars..
