I didn't enjoy using this in the summer. Kept overheating in a hot and humid environment.

As you can see you get best quality where you can reframe to flat and zoom out to get more pixels.

Never has overheated on loop mode for me out in the sun for 6 hours. Only issue is they dont write time of day to metadata so its a pain to align in premiere.

Action 4 isn't a 360 camera. If you want only action camera then definitely action 4 is a better choice. If you want 360 however, action 4 isn't even a choice. While insta 360 isn't the best action camera it definitely can be used as a decent substitute.

I have been using the X2 for over a year and I love how it works specifically for my motorcycle rides. Not sure about the X3 but the X2 didn't have any overheating issues or any glitch. Has worked flawlessly just need to make sure you are capturing in the right mode. Sometimes it is easy to mess it up if you not pulling up your phone and using the app to record.

I had an X2, it overheated for me and deleted all previous videos that was on the SD card.
