Ordered 2 on the last sale. These are great heaters. Highly recommend them, great build quality. A very strong fan. We haven't had to turn on our heater at home.

1,500 Watts at 110 volts is 13.6 Amps. If you have this plugged in on a 15 Amp circuit and are running a few other things, then yes, it will trip. That's not an issue with the heater but with your home and your energy consumption meaning whatever else you have running on that circuit breaker.

there is "no fix" because nothing needs to be fixed.. if you are tripping breakers, it's because you are overloading it or have a faulty breaker.

I bought 2 of the non oscillating ones and 2 that do. I had all 4 plugged in the same room and the 2 non oscillating ones had the same temp in the app and the other 2 oscillating ones were way off. I tried to adjust the temp by calibrating them but they don't seem to hold. I was working in my office one day and had it set to 69 and broke out ito a sweat. Checked the temp and it was almost 90. I've had no issues with the non oscillating ones. I don't trust the ones that do. Since I got them on sale and didnt want to deal w the hassel of sending them back I kept them. Just a warning I wouldn't trust leaving the oscillating ones unattended. I read the comments on Amazon and this seems to be a common trend. If you have kids def don't leave them in their room when they are sleeping. Having 2/2 fail I personally don't trust them.

I have the non-oscillating version from the last sale on slickdeals and use it to keep snow from gathering on my car. I like that it's wi-fi so I can connect and check the current temp and that it graphs the increase in temp. Saved me from scraping icy windshields or running outside to start the car 30 minutes before I have to leave so I think it's worth it. I just put it on the passenger seat, plug it into a extension cord and close the door on the cord, the door doesn't damage the cord.

Shit is dangerous. Don't plug it on extension cord and leave it running all night

These need dedicated circuits. Meaning, the outlet you are plugging it into should not be connected to anything else. If you have a computer connected to the same circuit and plug in the heater, then obviously there is a chance it will overload and trip the breaker.

Ideally, you should put these on a 20 amp circuit anyways but a 15 amp should be fine.

Better yet, space heaters aren't really a good idea if it is your only form of heating. Very inefficient.
Electric heaters are very "efficient".

Usually not "cost effective" depending on your electric rate. In GA is $0.062 per KWH and I think in CA it is closer to $0.30 per KWH or nearly 5x as much.

Even in GA though it is more cost effective to use electric heat pumps (AC unit in reverse).

These things have a crackling sound at the base when it rotates. Hope that's not a bad sign

You shouldn't ever plug a space heater into an extension cord unless you're *very* sure about the rating of the cord. A space heater draws too much power for 90% of the extension cords or power strips that people plug them into. It's better to always plug them into an outlet.

I hope you're using a 15A+ extension cord, otherwise you're risking a car fire. I'd still be hesitant about this setup.

Bought this for a similar (~$30) from the deal posted last month.

Its really good in all aspects expect for retaining the temp in auto mode. The temp is always off by +3 to +5 degrees. It seems to be a known issue reported by many people.

To mitigate this, it would be very helpful to pair with an external hygrometer (H5104 [amazon.com]). There are multiple Govee hygrometers which is compatible with this. Even though Amazon listing doesn't have H5104 on the list, it pairs and works fine (I bought H5104 since it was on sale for $7-$8).

Hope this helps.

"Supported Govee Thermo-Hygrometer Models: The following models are compatible with the Govee Thermo-Hygrometer: H5075, H5179, H5100, H5074, H5174, H5102, H5051, H5052, H5071, H5072, H5101, H5177,H5103, H5106 and B5178"

Their lights and smart plugs are great. However, this heater is a bit lackluster when compared to their other products.

The timer setting would be far, far better if it stayed at a set temperature during a timeframe, but instead it just shuts off after reaching a set temperature. Also, the user cannot set the temperature parameters of the Low, Medium, and High settings, which would have made this a fantastic heater!

I ordered one the last time it was on sale a few weeks back. It is awesome! I love it. Highly recommended. If you're thinking about pulling the trigger, do it! You will not be disappointed. I am actually thinking about ordering a few to give out as 2024 Xmas gifts.

Mine sits in the corner of my bathroom. I have it programmed to come on every weekday 15 minutes before I shower. Every morning I walk in to a cozy bathroom. Just excellent.
