This is a solid deal.

But 8gb VRAM in the 4070 pisses me off. And I am 100% justified in feeling that way.

Am I the only one who thinks it's crazy that a laptop this size wouldn't have a number pad? Obviously not the end of the world for gaming, but trying to work in Excel or similar without a number pad makes me irrationally angry.

Yeah I wish it had more vram too.

Which games use the most vram and would this be enough if I want to run max settings and resolution for VR?

I'm not getting the 10% off code via email. Are they still doing that? I have the Amex offer activated so just need to find a discount code and I'm set on this.

Edit, got it but took about an hour.

I feel that they do this mostly just for aesthetics.. it feels more "pro". The thing I'm more "angry" about is since this is somewhat a premium laptop, they should at least have added IR on all models (not just on the 240hz up screens), or a fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello.

I pulled the trigger on this. Have an extra 10% code if it helps someone.

Is this overkill if I don't play PC games?

This is precisely why I held out for a Lenovo Legion deal for so long. Keyboard layout is a deal breaker for me.

I'm sorry guys I'm probably being a dumbass here, but almost everyday I see gaming laptop deals here over desktops, and the specs are really good, what am I sacrificing if I went laptop over desktop?
