I have been watching for a price drop on the Echelon EX5 bike. It normally sells for about $760 or more on Amazon. Price has dropped to $399.99 and I've noticed this price has come and gone 3x in the last 24 hours so if price goes back up keep checking back.
This bike gets great reviews for adjustable handle bars and that's what sets it apart from some of the other Echelon bikes. I wanted a bike that could adjust for every member of the family.
You use your own tablet or phone with this bike, which some people prefer so you aren't married to the proprietary paid membership that goes along with that. Download QZ app and use Zwift for workouts.

I don't much like the pricey Echelon subscription one can get.
But one can use the qdomyos app (c. $6) and use this bike as a smart trainer with Peleton or Zwift (with a much cheaper subscription to Peloton than their full-feature version that's unnecessary with the qdomyos app, or with a subscription to Zwift that's $15/month instead of the more expensive and worse Echelon subscription).
I've been using it with Zwift. I got a refurbished Lenovo M10 tablet from ebay to use. You have to be a bit tech savvy and put in a bit of effort, but well worth it.
