There are 2 different models with higher boost clocks for only $10 more, and they aren't even on sale. Doesn't really seem like a slickdeal to me.

I'm hoping that RX 7800 XT prices come down a bit to adjust for the new RTX 4xxx Super lineup.

I think this is just the new standard price. 420 and I'm in.

Just bought a Radeon RX 7600 Dual Overclocked 8GB for $179, open box at Microcenter for in-store pick up.

For RX 7800XT, around $400 would be slick imo.

it's easy to overclock anyway..who cares about clocks. Whoever has the most efficient design and price wins

Since ~Summer of last year there have been tons of combo deals at Newegg and Microcenter where you can score a 7800 xt for $450 (or less) when purchased with 1-2 more items like a motherboard, cpu, etc. Those sorts of combos make it easy get better pricing on 2-4 components all at once instead of waiting on sales for each item and taking months to assemble a full list of parts.

YMMV

I'll pull the trigger on this card if it costs $400. $500 is still a bit overpriced.

Is the 7900 xT worth the price jump?

4070 Super costs 20% more for 5-10% better performance. https://www.digitaltrends.com/com...x-7800-xt/

But you also get DLSS, better ray-tracing, CUDA, generally better game and mod support, better emulation performance and support, and there are probably other things I am not thinking of.

Almost contemplated upgrading my 6750XT to 7800XT with $229 trade in credit to newegg/microcenter, but I don't think the $300 premium is worth the marginal performance upgrade. Gonna stand pat til next generation hits within 18 months.

Agreed. The 6800 is around $400 now. The 6800xt needs to fall to $425-450.

??? The 7800xt is 30% faster on average.
