A lot of these weird china brands is more a case of they probably bought it from or sold it to someone else better known and you could get parts that way. Or for a belt as the previous poster mentioned I'd just pull it and take measurements, they're usually not that unique of a part if the manufacturer can avoid it.

Amazon doesn't carry them. eBay doesn't carry them. Nobody seems to carry them. Should be the same parts as a PSS2240 sold at wally world for most parts, https://images.thdstatic.com/cata...f90e4b.pdf it would appear based on a quick google its a 720mm 1/2" vbelt (28 1/4) the spec belt appears to be a cheapie but you should be able to get one of the higher model gates like an A (best) or AX (better) to replace it: https://www.gates.com/content/dam...-chart.pdf probably want a Gates A28 ideally but obviously you should check the OEM belt dimensions first. Also find a different shop, if they can't find a belt that works they probably suck, these things all use automotive/agricultural belts designs for low cost to develop/buy so there's not that many variations on the market.

I would avoid this. Buy once, cry once. Or if on a budget get a used Toro single stage on Facebook or 2-stage Ariens.

I get what you're saying but if you wait months before testing something you bought, that's really on you. Even if I'm not going to use something right away, I still open it and test it.

Go buy a used toro, john deer, airens.... If you value your money your better off long term. My father bought a airens back in 94, guess what it's still going in 2024 seeing it's fair share of snow in northern Illinois. It was passed onto me nothing but routine maintance and finally a auger rubber replacment... Most of the parts are still original on it. Mostly the street salt did it's damage but it was $700 almost 30 years ago. Buy once and cry once

Bullshit. Do yoe even own one? I do and its on year 3+. No issues except a replaced shear pin when i hit a rock and that is to be expected

I'm comfortable working on engines but it is the having to fabricate parts for everything but the engine as once you're out of the return period, there is no parts catalog or customer service.

I checked tonight and they're $399 here in Utah. I'll probably bite for the headache and a short-term high of a good deal at $299 if it falls further.
