This is a factory outlet, no way they will have new stock before Homedepot or other major retailers they ship to first.
Milwaukee halted shipping any of the old ones due to a ratchet skipping failure well documented. When Home Depot and the other dozen retailers start shipping they will have the new stock with the fix.
Don't be a jackhole just because you don't know.

The refresh/new stock was not to be released to the retailers until the end of Feb or early March. Unless they beat that timeline I find it difficult to believe an Outlet on ebay has the newer model before the more common retailers they do business with like HD.
I sent the seller a message to find out when he got these. Long story short if you get the old stock you will not be happy when you experience the skipping issue. Hence whey I mentioned it early in my original post. Great price but I wouldn't buy old stock to have to go through the hassle of returning it with Milwaukee for an updated model in the future.
Don't believe me call Milwaukee or just google it and see the youtube videos and reddit posts about this. I have no dog in the fight.

After some digging, this item was out of stock everywhere until about a month ago. Now on Milwaukee website, this is in stock everywhere including FAO(Factory Authorized Outlet), except for HD. So this is likely the new stock, if Milwaukee was working to fix the issue.
