Dockers material has gotten a lot thinner and less durable in the past 10yrs than the material they used to use which was thicker and much more durable and fade resistant pre-2015. Even at $17.99 I wouldn't recommend Dockers anymore. I've used only Dockers pants for about 20yrs but I switched to IZOD about 4yrs ago which are roughly the same quality as the older good style good Dockers I used to buy +10yrs ago. IZOD pants are about $30 regular price vs Dockers which are $40 regular price for the basic pants with straight cut legs. IZOD has a slightly shorter inseam and pocket depth, and also has 1 more belt loop (7 total) so you get more even weight distribution on your belt and you don't get that occasional annoying front or back of the pants pulling down under the belt and folding/looking funny when you stand up or sit down because there aren't enough belt loops in that area like Dockers sometimes do with only 6 belt loops.

Price varies by size and color. However, the lowest price I saw for this color in any size is currently $27.27. Either the deal is dead or additional info is needed to replicate whatever deal OP had in mind that got to $17.49.
