Above are the first 2 points under Data Safety on Play Store. If the data isn't being collected or shared with 3rd party, no idea how can it be transferred to them.
You do know the developers write their own Data Safety on Google Play, right? You CAN NOT trust the Data Safety section on Google Play anymore. Be smarter and more careful!!!
The problem with apps like this is they "could" download a packet and inject it into the code of the app the NEXT time you are online. This happens way more than people realize. Usually it is a server-side update... Sometimes it is a packet that alters the app to bypass security checks on app stores so the software then becomes a free-for-all for whatever third party wants to do with it.

The percent to users who are still on Oreo are almost nonexistent. Around 4% to be exact. It's understandable for them to not support something that was released in 2017.

It's not about privacy exactly. If you use the internet, you basically need to assume you are constantly tracked on some level. It's about malicious intent.
Just coz Google collects user metrics doesn't mean we should be ok for every app developers out there to collect it. Google owns Android the operating system that runs in the phone and are bound by US laws. They are too big and won't risk reputation when someone finds they are breaching data collection laws. A newbie app developer sitting in a different country can collect as much sensitive info they could and could close their company if they were found collecting sensitive information. Big difference between the two and this is exactly why tiktok is banned in govt devices.
Correct. Very amateurish people thinking themselves smart and generalizing that everyone is using insecure devices and running facebook and tiktok. Too bad there's no cure to this. ☹️☹️☹️
