Hmm, 4.5 stars out of 2.76k reviews. I see where they called someone out for giving them a low rating because the app didn't do what the app said it wouldn't do. I wouldn't say they're a "junk developer", and I applaud them for calling out the person that obviously didn't read the description of the app.

If you are too worried, you may use the app in airplane mode. Not saying it is full proof but it will tell if the app is transmitting or not.
Rightfully so,they should call them out. No different than when people will give a delivered product a 1 star rating cause the shipping company lost it..🙄
