I understand need for some that might still use these but with so many years of them making them I still have around 10-12 in my drawer from all previous iphone purchases, besides loosing them I'm not sure how one can get rid of them. So far haven't heard someone said excitedly "oh look good thing they still producing these slow charging blocks" instead people get excited about super fast charging and right now it feels 15W is bare minimum now considering a lot of competition is way ahead with some offering over 100W charging options or at least 25-45W. Nowadays they sell even outlets with both USB-A and USB-C ports built in. More and more laptops are having USB-C charging also means you can use those powerblocks for phones as well. Main reason I think these are still valid is because wireless charging is not that much faster.
One to is for a wireless headset for work. It came with a charging dock that you leave on your desk. 10 W is plenty for this.
The other was for a DIY LED project. My wife got an award from work. I made a stand for it out of wood, and recessed an LED strip inside. This way it illuminates the award. Kinda corny, I know. But it looks nice. And I threw an old 5 W charger I had onto it to power the LED.
There are a LOT of cheap USB powered devices on Amazon that are sold without power bricks. At $2 a piece, this deal is actually pretty helpful for a lot of things. If you've still got a drawer full, then you are good to go. I'm working my way through my stash.
Lastly, a lot of old devices came with 5 W (1A) chargers. It could be worth the piece of mind to throw away any 5 W bricks. Make sure your stash is just the 10-12 W ones. Every once in a while a 5 W one sneaks in and messes up a project.
