No, it's a solid security camera company with zero monthly fees. I've had my reolink ip cam system for 5 years with no complaints. Great resolution, local network video recorder with upgradable storage and tons of customization. They keep updating the controller software every year so new capabilities.
assuming you get good 5G service in general, it shouldn't be a problem
I have 2 of the 5G devices at 2 different stores in new york city and don't have a problem viewing my wired and wireless cameras
just tested the speed now and got 715 download / 135 upload
PRO's: They work great if you want to check on an area.
CONS: The PIR motion sensor is meh. Motion recording is only 30 seconds so you better hope what you want to record happens in 30 seconds. Multiple complaints to support https://support.reolink
