not sure if all the clones are made by one manufacturer but the bootleg i brought was total trash: some bricks weren't molded correct, the 1500+ bricks were in 10+ bags but not sorted in any meaningful way (have to sort through all 1500+ bricks w each step.....lol, no way, that is going to take a decade to build. i got a refund/trashed the bricks

Awesome set. I was fortunate enough to get it for $80 during that crazy online Lego clearance sale Walmart had some weeks ago.

Awesome set, my wife built this one and it took a lot of willpower to keep from stealing it. She kept coming back to keep building and finding it in different halfway transformed shapes! Transformation works well except for some flimsiness in the waist. Almost toy accurate transformation but with some improvements and great poseability

That's wild, I never had an issue. Kids love em. It's all different manufacturers

I got a knockoff one before the official one was ever announced, so it's quite a bit different. Dunno the manufacturer but the bricks barely hold together. I feel like I need to superglue them all or dip it in epoxy resin or something to keep it all together.

It's very hit or miss with the knockoff brands. I have some that are fantastic, and some like the Optimus that doesn't want to stay together if you so much as look at it wrong. 🤷 ♂️

I had the same issue transforming. It came apart at the waist. I'm a little surprised with a LEGO product that it happened. Other than that, it's a great product.

I paid full price. I've built dozens of LEGO sets including the Voltron set. I never had an issue aside from a missing piece or two. So with that said, I don't expect it to come apart or not stay together, while transforming it.
