If you have wide palms you might not prefer this knife. It felt very petite in hand. Almost hard to grasp. The handle is on the narrow side as opposed to other models. Just an FYI.

I'm showing it still in stock, with shipping from REI, but not available for pickup from my local stores. Great knife, I have one but not in the black blade, which I don't care for normally.

I think it would be good to try to find a local dealer and test them out, I'm 6'4 with large hands and I have a mini bug out which is even smaller and despite it definitely being small I do love how it feels in the hand, though I do also want a larger bench made now. That was my first.

I think both are good to have for pocketability and maybe something bigger I would keep in a bag or the car

Love Benchmade knives. I have a total of 7 at this point and this is an awesome deal I may have to add to my collection. My oldest one has been going strong for 10 years and it's still as sharp as the day I got it. I gave one to my brother in law for Christmas a year ago and he didn't seem to know what Benchmade was but now carries it with him everywhere..

Mini bugout's handle is wider. I have 2 mini griptilian's that I love. It's just what I've seen. the 940 and 945 just feel awkward in my hand for some reason.
