My 11 year old son needs new shoes. He's been wearing under armour shoes and blown through those so quickly (I.e. junk). Any recs for this age from Nike in the $40-$60 range? He's an active kid

I would recommend buying any of the expensive ones that are on sale for either brand. There are levels with all shoes where the cheapest really are the cheapest made. Seems like entirely different shoe companies made them

Look for any with leather or reinforcement on the front top. Too many are not reinforced and are light weight for running. I just picked up the Nike Men's Air Max Excee shoes for my son that were on sale from Academy sports on the other recent thread for about $50.

The promo code appears to only be eligible for select items. I had 3 pairs of shoes in my bag and the code only worked for one of them.

Fyi, Nike also has a warranty on their shoes (for up to 2 years from date of manufacturing, which is usually somewhere in the shoe). I have needed to use that a few times with my kids.

You can also wear any item, return it in any condition within the first 60 days. That includes after washing, cutting tags off, etc.

I'd buy nike apparel more often but not many deep discount sales. I do like their therma hoodies bought several for around $15 each but haven't seen that price level in several years.
