The amount of time I spent modifying non-VR Skyrim was disgusting. I remember going through some STEP thing, using some program to make 4k textures look even BETTER (I think in the end I had like 40+gb of 4k textures alone actually in use). Game looked better than most ray-traced games with max settings out today.
I'll probably age another 2 years by the time I fully mod the VR version and play it.
I've never got very far in Skyrim at all. I was just flying around taking screenshots most of the time because it looked so good. Had my bokeh effect going and all that.
