Unless you own a gym and are selling it, or have a family of 15 kids who lift daily and triple scoop, I call BS

Every comment this person posts is an attempt to be funny, they have probably never seen the inside of a gym.

This is the normal price. I've bought this twice and have no complaints. I still prefer the MyProtein whey isolate but their prices have gotten out of hand, so I buy this stuff now.

What does unflavored taste like? Is it palatable to drink on its own with water/milk? Was gonna get some to cut into my other protein flavors but obviously fully unflavored is the healthiest option.

Yes, this is a deal compared to any other protein you'd buy.

I just bought a 3lb vanilla whey isolate from the same company a couple weeks ago. I am pretty sure I am going to switch from myprotein to this brand. Vanilla mixes well, very little touch of "sweet" taste. I only consume whey isolate.

In my opinion unflavored tastes like eating rice crispies or Chex cereal in milk. I've always been a fan of those cereals plain with milk and turns out I really enjoyed the unflavored because of that.

I don't know why people would wanna risk taking supplements from unverified sellers like these.

All the MP protein I have had has seemed inferior in terms of digestability is it better than I realized??

They must be confusing weight gainer with whey protein isolate. I had a teenager request GNC Bulk 1340. It didn't register at first, the front of the pic said nine servings per tub with the website saying $6 a serving. First ingredient was maltodextrin, lmao. Friends do not let friends buy from GNC.
Agreed their business model involves fleecing their customers 😡

Do you work there though?? I could use a five finger discount on some cash 😉

Ah so this company is just like pure bulk and bulksupplements.com purchases whey protein from the same sources. Yeah definitely better buy unflavored and add amount stevia, powder vanilla or cocoa (cacao) you like. Those sources are also making the whey protein on the shelves for Amazon, Walmart, Vitamin shoppe, etc.

that "made in usa" is likely a lie

it is likely packaged in usa from chinese import

there are threads on reddit where they buy huge amounts directly from USA bulk suppliers and the price is close to this but then these people are selling with ebay and shipping fees on top for the same? unlikely

all these places need 3rd party testing proof

Went down Reddit rabbit hole. Apparently it's plausible that this is US made but there's no record of heavy metals testing. The Reddit link has alternatives but they are more expensive than this by a bit.

For those who have purchased, how far out is the sell by date usually?

For those asking, I recall reading a Reddit thread at some point where the person had seemingly determined that this protein was sourced in bulk from Dana Foods in Wisconsin. It's possible that is incorrect or that the sourcing has changed since then, but I figured I'd pass that along in case someone else wants to try to find out more.

My bigger worry is sloppy handling in the packaging process, which is probably not subject to any sort of inspection. That said, I'll probably continue to buy it unless I hear of people having problems from it.

Yeah I've come across similar reddit threads about this brand but their customer service is not existent and they could've easily switched providers long ago as they haven't updated their listings with any recent certifications.

People have reported that the Casein and Egg Whites that New World sells are nothing like competing products from a quality standpoint. Calling into question what are they really selling.
