About this Game:
Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic.
Step into the dirt flecked shoes of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter trying to find a reason to live in a land surrounded by death. Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.
A striking setting: From forests and meadows, to snowy plains and desert lava fields, the Pacific Northwest is both beautiful and lethal. Explore a variety of mountains, caves, mines and small rural towns, scarred by millions of years of volcanic activity.
For under $10, get this game. That is an amazing value.
Not sure why my comment was deleted. I was just informing everyone that this is the regular third party price. Maybe it was because I posted a price tracking link? The point is just to inform people that there is no rush you can always buy this game key from 3 party providers at this price. As has been the case most everyday for the past year.

How does this compare to the gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2? I heard so many great things about that game...open world, beautiful nature, etc...but a couple hours in I'd had enough up because it felt like I was playing a glorified rail shooter with protracted cutscenes in between heavily scripted gameplay set pieces.

The combat is better than RDR2 due to the type of enemy but nothing revolutionary. I despised the repetition of the RDR2 combat and mission structure. I liked Days Gone more for atmosphere and zombie hordes. The story takes a long time to get moving. If it did not have a post apocalyptic setting I would have passed. It is well worth it at this price but watch a Youtube gameplay preview first.

I was disappointed with Red Dead Redemption 2 and couldn't get into it. I'm not good at explaining games but it's a different feel. Definitely worth $9 imo.

I didn't care for Red Dead R 2, but I loved Days Gone. I finish very few games...I finished this one in 49 hours.

Ditto, same thing and exact same circumstance happened to me today. Check your inbox, you probably have a message from a mod regarding a "competitor's website."

Get ready to go from horse riding simulator to motorcycle simulator except you have to search for gas every 30 mins. In my opinion the missions get very repetitive, make you go from one end of the map to the other almost every other mission. Having to find gas gets annoying too.
