If you mean the dark night+ rosewood, I have it and it's one of the most beautiful guitars produced today. Many many compliments. I mean probably 2 dozen people at least have told me it's incredible. In person it's a nice metallic flake and awesome gradient. The focus doesn't go to the neck color anyway because the body is draws so much attention. Some people want maple due to feel, but I don't like a glossy neck and have always preferred rosewood. A neck shouldn't be purchased on its looks alone, but it's playability, shape, and feel instead. I wouldn't get down on someone who prefers maple, but I'd be surprised if you are in the majority if you think it's not a kick ass color of a guitar.
Someone was wishing for this exact color and rosewood fretboard a couple weeks ago. I have been waiting for the bass Professional II to get to this price for over year now. Didn't buy it last time and it is the only guitar I "need" right now.

That color is sick. I'd go for this on a jazzmaster

I was one of them wanting this color w/ rosewood.
Adding it in HSS was a bonus as it usually costs more for this version.

If you're talking about the dark night in hss, that was me. I waited for a year plus for it to go on sale and it never did. I eventually bought it on Reverb for 1300 total, in mint condition last year.

It even shows that it includes a Hard Case. That's ALWAYS a good sign to me. U.S.A. all the WAY!
