I was doing research on video doorbells and came across this bundle with the new HomeBase 3 and dual camera doorbell for $219.99 on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/eufy-Secur...B0C7TKZZB6

Never seen this that cheap with this new HomeBase 3 and could be a price mistake.

I have a Eufy. Currently they sre not subscription but I believe there are more options with subscription. I am not really fond of mine, the recording is limited to clips so instead of turning on then off when motion stops, you get 30/60/90/120 clips, that's it. If someone is robbing your house longer than that well fudge you. Granted it does turn back on for another clips but its not a split second later, there is a few second delay.

Base is the basic hub that acts as storage, internet connection and networked device.

I don't think this is the regular price with HomeBase 3. Maybe with HomeBase 2.

It's been this price for at least 3 months.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

Have a whole bunch of eufy cameras and locks and the older home base. If I had to do it again, I would probably not go Eufy.

Pros
Wireless connectivity and battery power makes it easier to place
Video quality is decent (2k)
No subscription (subscription is optional)
Support had been great

Cons
Delay to view, even live
Homebase 2 wireless is more reliable than the 100mbps ethernet
Homebase 3 compatibility with older eufy products
No easy way to view live video on other platforms (home assistant)
Cameras go offline and comeback occasionally
Recording is timer based. This is also a power saver setting, but even the wired cameras are limited to clips
No real warning of low battery states. It just goes offline. There is a battery meter on the app but no visual/audio indications or notifications on power status.
Significant delay on motion events.
Some people have problems with the build quality - peeling because of sun/weather.
No good floodlight cameras

Sounds like you don't have the latest products. The Floodlight Cam E340 is pretty awesome. The dual doorbell that is part wired is really neat too. It sees so much more. Eufy is actually innovating. They aren't simply copying what other brands are doing. Their products fill a need at the garage level and doorbell. I can't tell you how many times a delivery person has placed a package in the absolutely weirdest place. If it weren't for the cameras I'd be on an Easter egg hunt trying to locate things. Packages being delivered in some cases at 9pm+ (Amazon/FedEx/UPS) would be left out all night if not for the cameras alerting me.
