Autolite spark plugs are garbage. Stick with what came original. In over 35 years of professional wrenching I have learned what works and what doesn't.

Don't buy your auto parts from Amazon, they are probably fake.

There's no such thing as fake autolite spark plugs. They are not considered a premium brand and they certainly don't sell at a premium which makes them not at all enticing for counterfeiters.
NGK on the other hand...

Get iridiums instead (which are currently onsale as well).

Pennywise (not even really) and pound foolish to buy cheap spark plugs, especially when factoring in cost of labor to replace.

Sweet, thanks! These fit my Pontiac Vibe and my Prius.
Do those cars not come with iridium plugs? I couldn't imagine downgrading to a double platinum if you are able to get the longer longevity of an iridium plug.

I do use double platinum in an old truck of mine that didn't come with iridiums and has a distributor ignition.

Are these good for sport cars I have a G37 coupe Infiniti I usually put iridium NGK but clicking on the these spark plugs on Amazon it says it fit my car I wonder will these be a good alternative or not ? Any one with Infiniti has these in the engine? And if so what are your experience with these worth buying or not?
Unless you are fouling plugs, you probably should stick with an iridium electrode. Iridium plugs are stated to last longer than double platinum plugs.

Agree I have received ngk spark plugs and other car parts that were counterfeit from amazon will not buy parts there anymore.
Even if not counterfeit you definitely do not want to install Autolites on Honda vehicles(acura). They will run like do do and you will have issues.
I put the Autolite double iridium spark plugs on the Honda Accord. It has been working perfectly for more than 5 years. No misfires. BTW, save yourself, never buy anything, critical auto parts from Amazon. Buy from local stores, Napa or Rock Auto.

Do not buy spark plugs on Amazon. The last thing you want are counterfeit spark plugs in your car.

As an honest suggestion as a mechanic, only use what your auto manufacturer recommended. For example, Denso for Toyota and NGK for Honda. Otherwise, you'll have issues such as misfire, etc.. Moreover, don't buy Genuine Spark Plugs like Denso from Amazon. They're NOT authorized reseller. Pay a little more and get it from reputable resellers like AutoZone or Advanced Auto.

I think they take iridium, I have a rav4 and the previous owner had platinum plugs and my car ran rough until I changed it.

I'm not going to pick on anyone specifically, but those saying Autolite's are garbage are using very outdated information. Or, they made up their minds in the 80's/90's, and haven't changed or tried them since.

Autolite's - especially the plats and XP/Iridiums, are excellent plugs. Most common bad experiences are from either user error (incorrect plug selection), or, purchasing from Walmart, where it was dropped, the gap went all out of whack, the user was a novice and didn't even know how to check a gap, and the plug was installed anyway.

I've been stating this about autolite for some time now, but hadn't proved it out 1st hand myself.

So to that end, about 8 years ago, I installed them in both my 2006 Explorer (4.6L V8) and my 2014 F150 3.5 EcoBoost. Autolite Double Plat's in the Explorer, and Autolite Iridium XP's in the F150.

The explorer currently has 85k miles on the plugs. 175k miles total.

The F-150 is sitting at 177k miles total. Sadly I didn't write down the mileage when I installed the plugs, but I can say they at least have 50k on them. The truck also has a tow tune and is used primarily to tow our 30ft TT.

Both vehicles run excellent. Shocker.

Last time I bought spark plugs from Amazon they came in a simple envelope and the individual boxes were all crushed and mangled. I sent them back. No way to know if they suffered hairline cracks or other non-obvious damage from being tossed around during shipping.

I would not do it. The price of your car is not worth the little saving you get. Buy it locally from auto parts store, they can insured you get the quality part for your car and would not sell junk.
