You shouldn't ever really use anything metal in a nonstick pan
So wait until it isn't on sale and it will be at your price point.
What does that even mean? I have this and it purees, blends, crushes, mixes like you would expect an immersion blender to do.... so, no?

Seems like the kind of thing that will have a dead battery when you need it. But you can't just plug it in, you have to plug it in and wait 20 minutes...

That is why I am interested in the Kitchaid Go system. ( seems like a Target exclusive right now )
Like cordless tools, the removable battery can be charged while the tool(s) are in storage, especially useful when multiple tools, or appliances, use a common battery. One charging station instead of everything out on the counter plugged in and charging before use.

Eventually these kitchen appliances will catch on.

I've had the corded version of this for a few years and the only thing I don't love about it is that it isn't cordless. Pretty sure this is what I paid for the corded version. I use it everyday to blend up my coffee.

I really don't need to replace mine just for that one feature, but this price is really tempting. Damn you slickdeals.

Do you leave yours out on the counter, or store it? I was thinking to get a corded one to not hassle with charging, but then I read your opinion that cordless is the way to go.

We'd probably only use it 2-3 times per week, which is why I was considering corded.

It's a somewhat long cord, so I have that somewhat wrapped around and tied up to not look so messy, but I leave it out on the counter and plugged in. If I was using it less frequently like you plan to, I'd probably put it away. Without the cord, though, I feel like it would be much easier to go either way.

The Kohl's link still works, but yeah - looks like the Amazon link is dead.

Edit: only the black on Amazon is dead.

I guess cordless is the draw here. But costco regularly has a corded variable speed cuisinart with more attachments, whisk, food processor, different blade... for $30 after $10 sale discount.

Or you can get the really cheap ones every year for free or get paid after rebate from kohls black friday.

The biggest grip I have with this blender is the safety cut off. I use mine for making mash potatoes and after two minutes, the unit will just turn off. You have to unplug it for 30 seconds and then plug it back in. This happens so that the motor doesn't burn out. https://producthelp.kitchenaid.co...s_Blending

I bought a Chefman brand version of this that takes a generic USB C charger. I'd prefer a Kitchen Aid but having a universal charger is way more convenient.
