Seems like a good deal that matches the Black Friday front page deal back in Nov. The biggest difference is the RAM though. It used to come with CL30 and now it comes with CL32.
Looks like this is a 2 day sale only.

Another 10% off or 24 months interest free (Minimum $225) for AMD bundles if you pay with microcenter insider credit card as part of the Purchase Processor, laptop, desktop, mac, or tv and get the total purchase discounted promo.

This unfortunately does not match the previous deal for microcenter's 7900x bundle. The previous version of this bundle came with 64gb (2x32) ddr5 6000 CL30 ram. The current iteration of this bundle comes with 32gb (2x16) ddr5 6000 CL32 ram. While the cas latency isn't a huge deal since both ram kits use hynix memory chips, coming with half as much ram obviously makes this deal a substantially worse value.

Good catch.
What's your recommendation on this bundle? Do you think this bundle is a better buy at $500?

I don't think this bundle is a bad deal at it's current price, but compared to the 7700x and 7800x3d bundles at $350 and $450 respectively, it's a worse value. With zen5 slated to release Q3 of this year, I'd personally hold out for this bundle to drop down to $500. The motherboard in this bundle is great, and the 7900x offers solid productivity performance with good power efficiency. That being said, I just don't think it's worthwhile at $550 (considering how incredible of a deal the 7700x and 7800x3d bundles are) unless you're in a rush to build an am5 machine and need strong multithreaded performance.

Thanks!
Given that I'm investing in this platform for the next few years, I really like the fact that this bundle comes with a much better board than in the 7700X bundle.
With that being said, agreed that this would be a Slickdeal at $500.

And for a while, they had replaced the 64GB CL30 with 32GB and still kept the same $600 bundle price.

If you plan to use all 3 nvme slots, just note that the last PCI slot can only be used if not using the third nvme slot. It's one or the other. I had to move my 10GbE nic onto a x1 riser and up to the x1 slot to use the third nvme. Other than that, the board is good. The button to remove your GPU is much better than a stupid tab that's unreachable after installing.

The previous deal was amazing, but there were serious issues with the previous RAM and motherboard combo. EXPO wasn't stable and the system would occasionally crash coming out of sleep. Only now do I have a decent negative curve optimization and ram clocked at 6000 and I'm not at all afraid of crashes. Of course, multithreaded perf is insane compared to my previous system.

Yeah, at the end of the day, I decided it was better to just get the components I wanted instead of going with the bundle to save money. I'm going to have this new build for at least 2 years, so I'd rather spend the extra $300 now and be sure that I have good components.

You made the right decision at that time. I spent way more time fiddling (and not in a fun way) than I wanted to and even now that the RAM is stable, I'm pretty sour on the motherboard and ASUS in general. I do think that deal is worth it now, with the latest drivers.
When it comes time to repaste, I'll probably swap the motherboard out for a better one, something with USB4

I bought the 7700x bundle. What GPU do you think I should go with? Also have a 750w PSU. Really don't want to have upgrade the PSU yet.
I got the 64GB version of this deal back in August.
Have the same complains with the initial setup...took 2 installs of windows to get it all working. Also upgraded from the old setup to a new 1TB WD 770 drive in the top slot and moved my old SSD (6 year old Adata 512gb) to the middle slot.
It's a good system imo for future proofing...in the future I plan to drop an end stage AM5 new CPU in and keep the other 2 parts.
Works fine with peerless assassin air cooling too.
