Not sure about this one. On one hand, what are the other options at $100? If you care most about pixels then this is probably as good as it gets for the price. However, this isn't that wide and may feel more like a rather short display vs an ultra wide screen. As a comparison, this display's viewable dimensions are 23.6" x 10.1" A typical 24" 16:9 screen (the typical $100 monitor) is 20.9"x11.8"
Based on the vertical height this is like a very wide 21" monitor (18.3"x10.3"). As for the width, this is about the same as a 27" 16:9 display which can sometimes be had for $100 though typically with fewer pixels (23.5"x13.2")
I don't really think this is wide enough to give that ultra wide screen feeling while the vertical height might make it feel like a smaller monitor vs other low cost options.

As for the wide bezels, they may not be that wide. Instead the screen is small enough that a slightly wide bezel seems quite large because the usable screen is just that small.

I was just messing with my set up and found this site: multimonitorcalculator.com
It lets you input the monitors and change the positions, etc. It could help you narrow things down with your space and if you'll want to buy mounting arms or something else.

The bezels are thick as a safety feature! Without them you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between reality and this amazing display!

I've actually bought this monitor in the past from amazon for around 125 and thought it was decent for what it was, but would not be getting this as a main monitor. My original use case for it was as a secondary display to be positioned at an angle below my imac (custom stand so it fit) so I could have my terminal and slack side by side on the lower screen with my main workspace/browser above.

The width/pixel match up close enough, but wasn't perfect.

I didn't go with a 27 inch 1440p monitor because that was just too large to fit below.
