once you add taxes you're looking at about $10/ah which is considered a great deal for Milwaukee batteries.

The are only 3 ways you will find legit M18 batteries cheaper per amp hour:
1. Gray market sellers on Marketplace or Offerup or ebay or the like. Are they legit or counterfeit? You won't know unless you get them and open them up. Your warranty will start from the date on the battery andnot the date of purchase.
2. Deep into clearance (many weeks) at Home Depot for special battery bundles they usually don't carry in store (like this one) that were only in stores for a promotion.
3. Price mistakes on something like Home Depot's Special Buuy of the Day, or the accidental inclusion of a "free battery " in an already well discounted Special Buy of the Day.
You used to be able to frequently do better than $10/ah on M18 batteries using the Homee Depot "hack" but price increases have seemingly eliminated that.
This seller is an authorized Milwaukee dealer and well regarded, and that is worth something to some people.
