More like after Covid-era money printing which started with you know who
I have tried SOOO many chicken tikka / butter chicken / etc COOK-at-home-packets with the hope it would taste ANYTHING like the restaurant versions… and they are all so bad my family has threatened to kick me out if I subject them to any more of taste tests.

i prefer this flavor to the madras lentils flavor that is also on sale. these are a little tastier and i don't get tired of them as quickly. the bombay potatoes (plus chickpeas) flavor is pretty good too

Only 47? Sounds like someone is taking shortcuts!
J/k I love cooking but tasty bite is really great to have in the pantry when you just need a quick dinner. Especially if you have leftover rice from takeout.
Not on Amazon. Camelcamelcamel shows a pretty consistent price over the past six years. $2 a bag was the lowest regular price I was able to find it.
Yeah they've been around this price for a while, maybe a bit lower at Costco's but they only have madras lentils at my local store. I used to get tasty bite for as cheap as $1/bag but that was probably 10-15 years ago and they were quite new to the market. I remember them bundling some Indian music cds with their packs back then.
