I wear these exact contacts for 2 months at a time with no issues. More often that not I'll replace them because of a slight tear rather than because I actually need to.

Been doing this for 20 years. Saves a ton of money. Don't listen to what the eye doctors say about "2-3 weeks." I wear contacts everyday. There have been times I've gotten through the whole summer with 1 pair of contacts.

Keep them clean and be gentle...they will last much longer than what the box says.

i've been using acuvue oasys contacts for a few years and have been pretty happy with them.. but is there an advantage to using the 1-day contacts? i've always used ones that need to be disposed of bi-weekly..

Next time you have your exam, ask your Dr. to try them out.

Personally I found the 1-day contacts would dry out faster and by a 6/7/8pm time frame each day, I'd want them out of my eyes, even with drops throughout the day.

The bi-weekly, I could easily go till 10/11/midnight/1am with and use less drops throughout the day, so I ended up just sticking with them.

I've tried the 1-day things a couple times now and each time the same thing + the added cost of 1-day just didn't make it worth it for me.

But your doc will give you a sample pack, try them out.

Also if paying shipping offends you, you can price match with 1800contacts who will ship for free.
THEY don't charge for shipping, but for price matching purposes they only match the final price+shipping

I've done the same for over 20 years as well with Acuvue. I forget how long I've worn a pair sometimes. Usually change them at around 1-2 months unless they are getting uncomfortable. My eye doctor doesn't have any issue with wearing them for a month. He probably wouldn't advise 2 months though.

My script is expired and my appointment isn't until March 1 or I'd jump on this deal.

I also thought about trying Bausch + Lomb ULTRA contacts just to try something different.

Cheaper than Costco but I don't have to re-up for another 4 months.

Sorry - you use the bi-weekly for 2 months at a time? Or the daily ones?

That's crazy.
For me it's 1-2 months on the bi-weekly, I usually toss them closer to a month, but having been using contacts for over 25 years I just go by feel.

Same. I usually wear my toric lenses until they feel uncomfortable or consistently lose focus. Over 20 years of full-day wearing contacts - no adverse side effects with extending (sometimes greatly) the manufacturer advised wear limit.

Does anyone know if this site has those ridiculous handling charges that others do?
I have been ordering from this site for the past 10 years - no handling charges or any hidden fees.

I was told these are being phased out for total 30. Might've been total bs from my eye doctor to increase sales though

I have these for my left eye and biofinity for my right due to the axis. Biofinity are monthly and my eye dr said I would be fine with leaving the acuvue in for that time period also.

Same story here. I wear them way longer and have no discomfort whatsoever.

These are available cheaper elsewhere. Also beware of old stock.

Eyeglasses are manufactured differently (material and type of machines used). You need to get them from a quality place, especially if your Rx is complex - astigmatism/high-sphere, etc.

Contacts are manufactured directly by the company listed. At the same time, the choice of reseller may not impact the qualify, but if they are dishonest or ship them beyond the expected timeline, stay away from them.
