I wear these exact contacts for 2 months at a time with no issues. More often that not I'll replace them because of a slight tear rather than because I actually need to.

Been doing this for 20 years. Saves a ton of money. Don't listen to what the eye doctors say about "2-3 weeks." I wear contacts everyday. There have been times I've gotten through the whole summer with 1 pair of contacts.

Keep them clean and be gentle...they will last much longer than what the box says.

i've been using acuvue oasys contacts for a few years and have been pretty happy with them.. but is there an advantage to using the 1-day contacts? i've always used ones that need to be disposed of bi-weekly..

Honestly the monthly version (Acuvue Vita) are so much better. Don't dry out as much through the whole month and much easier to remember to throw away monthly.

It's talking about, "Excessive or overnight wear of contact lenses" among a variety of other risk factors.

Ordered a couple of boxes of the 90-day daily ones for my wife for each eye. $69.95 for each box is the cheapest I've seen in a very long time. I got an extra few bucks back with R* cash back.

For those concerned, I've ordered 3 times in the past 2 years from EZ Contacts with no issues whatsoever.

I purchased Air Optix just last week from them and just took pictures of my boxes after reading a comment that it works. They will first send an email telling you that isn't a valid prescription and then in a day or two they will ship it.
Awesome I'll try that. Thanks!

I also wear monthly contacts for many months at a time 🤷🏻 ♂️ just rinse them in solution and never get irritation or anything.

True, I do this too. A pair can last me 3 months with daily wear, never had a problem. Those that have problems don't know what clean means.

You need to make sure your fingers are clean every time, a good wash with warm water and soap. Then rinse your lenses off real well.

Change the solution in the case every 2-4 days depending on how long you wore them.

I hope no one has dirty and oily fingers when they put their lenses back in the case or when wearing.

You really can't be lazy. There should always be fresh sterile solution. For example, the longer you wear a pair, the cleaner the lenses and solution in the case should be.

WASH YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND GET UNDER YOUR FINGERNAILS! FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS!

Pro Tip: rinse your fingertips with solution then put them on/take them off. Then you can actually touch your eyeballs without getting a clogged tear duct.

Not only does it help extend the life of the pair, it's good hygiene.

Pro Tip #2: if your lenses are so dry and cupped onto your eyeball, squirt solution into your eye. Wash hands with soap, then clean fingers with solution, and dry. The dryness allows you to pinch from the left and right to "pop" the lens out. Pulling your lenses down with one finger quickly stretches it out of shape.

actually i can't believe no one's mentioned this -- i order from a UK online website. even with shipping costs, the contacts are still cheaper.

best of all -- the UK sites don't require you to upload a current prescription. i don't like having to pay $200 once a year to get my contact lens prescription "renewed" since they literally have not changed for 10 or so years.

your mileage may vary.

I think the daily ones are the same contacts as the 2 week ones, just marketed differently

Please be careful. This company had gone out of business. Research where your contacts are coming from you only have one set of eyes for life.

Make sure to use the same mouth wash every 2-4 days as well. Heck just save money on cleaning solution and use tap water instead.

All jokes aside. I would recommend changing the cleaning solution everyday and not reusing the solution. That is like reusing mouth wash.
