I wear these exact contacts for 2 months at a time with no issues. More often that not I'll replace them because of a slight tear rather than because I actually need to.

Been doing this for 20 years. Saves a ton of money. Don't listen to what the eye doctors say about "2-3 weeks." I wear contacts everyday. There have been times I've gotten through the whole summer with 1 pair of contacts.

Keep them clean and be gentle...they will last much longer than what the box says.

i've been using acuvue oasys contacts for a few years and have been pretty happy with them.. but is there an advantage to using the 1-day contacts? i've always used ones that need to be disposed of bi-weekly..

Does anyone know about deals for a year supply of Oasys 1-Day contacts? With this site, if I order 8x boxes (720 contacts for 360 days for both eyes), the total is $560. My local seller has it for $600 - $200 rebate. Are there going to be better deals? Is it recommended to not buy a year at a time in case my prescription change or the contacts have shelf life? Thanks

I've ordered from here before it's fine. Pretty much order contacts every year and it's always around $75-$80/box so this price isn't super amazing, just decent.

Unless you really need a year's supply, I'd probably just buy as few boxes as you can get away with. Usually with insurance you can get reimbursed $105/yr for out-of-network purchases of contacts (i.e in this case, you could buy 2 24-pack boxes for $160ish and then claim $105 making your contacts cost only ~$55). You also want to check if you can stack with certain cash back sites as well.

It's on the cart page BUT the text link to add it does not show up for the astigmatism contacts. I looked all over for it and thought I was losing my mind, but noticed it showed up when I had a different item in my cart. Even then the code only took money off that 1 item and not the contacts, so if you don't see it on the cart page good chance it doesn't work for that item.

I couldn't find where to put the discount code and realized that if I add non contact lens items like a glass frame, a link to add promo code appears in the cart. if I only have contacts, link disapears. How are other entering the promo code, I have no idea...

I purchased Air Optix just last week from them and just took pictures of my boxes after reading a comment that it works. They will first send an email telling you that isn't a valid prescription and then in a day or two they will ship it.
Wow it worked. First they emailed me that my prescription wasn't good enough, and then a couple hours later they're telling me it's preparing for shipment.

My lenses of choice for many years- I've done far worse than what other people described… until I had a minor infarction. From experience I'll say continuous wear for 3 months on a single pair is a bad idea- I was young and dumb 😅

True, I do this too. A pair can last me 3 months with daily wear, never had a problem. Those that have problems don't know what clean means.

You need to make sure your fingers are clean every time, a good wash with warm water and soap. Then rinse your lenses off real well.

Change the solution in the case every 2-4 days depending on how long you wore them.

I hope no one has dirty and oily fingers when they put their lenses back in the case or when wearing.

You really can't be lazy. There should always be fresh sterile solution. For example, the longer you wear a pair, the cleaner the lenses and solution in the case should be.

WASH YOUR HANDS WITH SOAP AND GET UNDER YOUR FINGERNAILS! FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS!

Pro Tip: rinse your fingertips with solution then put them on/take them off. Then you can actually touch your eyeballs without getting a clogged tear duct.

Not only does it help extend the life of the pair, it's good hygiene.

Pro Tip #2: if your lenses are so dry and cupped onto your eyeball, squirt solution into your eye. Wash hands with soap, then clean fingers with solution, and dry. The dryness allows you to pinch from the left and right to "pop" the lens out. Pulling your lenses down with one finger quickly stretches it out of shape.
These are layman's hacks and not approved by "pros". Extending the lifespan of a contact lens beyond its intended use may never cause a problem, but it certainly increases the probability of one.

the contact lens mafia needs to be disbanded! the whole unilateral pricing approach should
be illegal! basically they lobby against lasik as they know 99.9 percent of people could
easily get vision restoration and never wear corrective lenses or glasses ever again!
I have severe myopia. My contact prescription is -10.0. I have been told by multiple doctors that I am not a candidate for LASIK because it would damage the structural integrity of my cornea. Even for those who are candidates for LASIK, it doesn't eliminate the need for reading glasses as you age.

Same. Thanks for the heads up so I didn't have to mess with their "free eye exam". Was in a pinch to get to the eye doctor and get a new prescription before heading abroad in a few weeks. I know my prescription is good for a box of each to hold me over for a couple months now.

If this order goes through then it is a steal, I spend $600 to get a 6 month supply but only $230 to get a year supply here

They are way thinner and because of that far more comfortable. If the 2 week irritate your eyes, try the daily

actually i can't believe no one's mentioned this -- i order from a UK online website. even with shipping costs, the contacts are still cheaper.

best of all -- the UK sites don't require you to upload a current prescription. i don't like having to pay $200 once a year to get my contact lens prescription "renewed" since they literally have not changed for 10 or so years.

your mileage may vary.
What site is this, exactly? I'll be there visiting family in a couple of months
