This is not at all accurate. I've never seen this case at this price.

Enjoyed building in the case, but was disappointed to find that installing a cd/DVD player prevents the installation of a second hHDD (insert snarky comments here about using old tech). Still, it's a good case and no other complaints.

Interesting, no bottom fan mount/intake? Have been looking for a case I can set on carpeted floor that won't be a total disaster and everything draws from the bottom now.

I have the same case. You can do 2 drives behind the CD player. I remember pulling out 2 cages

Correct. Two fans up front, one in back, and optional two fans venting out the top. The PSU can be oriented to either draw air from inside the case or draw air from underneath. I have the mini version for mATX, it's a nice case.

Also, the two drive bay thing is kind of ridiculous.

I own one of these cases. Decent for a modern case (2 HDD drive cage, minimalist everything else). However, I wouldn't consider it a slickdeal at this price point. This is the new higher price point. It has been consistently $35 - $40 since pre-COVID. Only recently has price jumped.

How does the dvd drive in the front work? Does it have some kind of a covering for it that pops out of the way or does it look kind of ugly with 1-2 black dvd drives up front sticking out?

Ahh crap; my bad. I have the Air Pop Mini. This case must be a little deeper to allow the optical drive and the two HDD simultaneously. My apologies!

There is a plastic cover with some magnets to cover the front. Magnets are weak enough that the cover is easily pushed off the computer if you forget to remove it prior to opening the optical drive. Cheers.

Well, my bad for the ambiguous language. I meant to say that this PC case was launched in 2022. Which is "during" the mids of covid. Thus, nullified the false claim of "It has been consistently $35 - $40 since pre-COVID" from team_qwerty.
