Here's a slick idea: use water bottles. Then when they melt, you have water instead of some stupid piece of plastic filled with blue water you have to keep track of.

The front page for this product identifies its prime eligible. But it's charging $2.99 shipping.

That's if you want to overnight it. There should be a two day prime option.

These are awesome for packing kids lunches. They fit better in limited space, and the ones I have (different brand but look identical) stay cold most of the day in their lunch boxes. Well worth it.

If you purchase the pink 12-pack @$12.70 they come out at $1.05/pc Rather than $1.50/pc for the blue 4 pack @$6.

These packs usually melt slower than water. Which can be good and bad. Good if you are putting stuff that's already cold in the cooler because it'll keep them cold for longer. Bad if you put room temperature drinks in the cooler and want them to cool up.

Another idea if the water bottle form factor is an issue you can use vacuum seal bags, seal water in them and freeze them which will allow you to make bags of any size. Of course you have to have a vacuum sealer.

Pure water melts slower than water with anything else mixed in. Ice made with pure water also absorbs more heat as it melts. Regular water works better than what's in these blue packs

If you have a Home Goods or TJ Maxx in your area, they have better sales than this. I picked up the exact same product for $2.99 for 4 ice packs there

Yes Igloo blocks are always $.98 all the time. Dimensions are almost identical to this post 0.79"D x 4.33"W x 5.12"H.

I purchased 12 of the Igloo blocks and gave 3 to every employee in the shop and finally unplugged the big fridge. Some people will turn ON a full size appliance and just put a small Yogurt cup in there the whole day and at the end of the day they end up taking it back home. Confused
