15 cents since you pay tax on the full price. Better than the 2% cash back I get with my Citi 2x cash card, so why not?

FWIW, I did a similar deal like this last year since a couple family members in my house really like this, and it's expensive at Costco. Well, turns out the Costco version is "Optic White Renewal" and it is definitely a different product from these. One family member wouldn't even use up the tube they started, just handed it off and we bought the pack from Costco at the next visit. The whitening power of the Renewal version is simply stronger and actually works for them.

Absolutely. 0.98 cents. 0.76 cents tax. Ridiculous. Pretty soon these politicians (especially those of a certain party) will want to tax based on Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price. Hey, after all, the discount is a form of payment right???
