Hack to get around $10 min

On a computer 🖥 Is easier than a phone.

1) sign into your account.
2) add the item or items you want to buy.
3) add ANYTHING else to hit $10.
4) proceed to checkout where you are entering your card information.
5) copy and paste link to a new window (doesn't need to be incognito) or just duplicate window.
6) go BACK to delete the item you don't want in one window, go forward to confirm checkout after deleting in the other.

By just doing it yourse....

Oh wait THAT is probably the issue; you having to do something yourself, instead of wasting the associates time.

1) It doesn't take "5 seconds".
2) Your plan is a PITA using a phone (the device most people use for this purpose).
3) SD'ers have reported problems with this (on a computer as well).
4) This (simple, easy) plan has worked perfectly for me numerous times.
5) There's nothing wrong with having a (simple, easy) alternative.
I do it on a phone every time. Zero issue. Add something to cart, copy the URL, paste in a new tab, go through checkout, get to payment, go back a tab, delete out of cart, go forward a tab, finish checkout. Easy. Took longer to type out than to perform.

"All that re-work"? Employees at the stores are hired for this purpose (stocking and re-stocking). The less work that's required at the stores, the fewer employees are required at the stores. Effectively shutting them out of getting/keeping jobs. I've used this option numerous times. It's their policy to allow (fast, easy) cancelations at the stores. Not once were there any complaints from Walgreens employees. Only from certain SD'ers who take such pride in using "hacks".
Oh yeah, I do the same at work. I just throw trash on the ground and avoid trashcans. Less work for me and our company pays the custodian services to clean up anyways. Really I'm doing them a favor keeping them employed.

Peak Karen Energy right here.

That makes no sense!....but feel free to tell yourself (and others here) that it does. I promise you that the next time I follow Walgreen's own policy (vs. hacking the system), I'll insist upon returning the item to the shelf myself. I'd also offer to save them the 10 seconds that it takes to tap a few buttons on their touchscreen, but they'd likely prevent me from doing that.

Oh is that all? So you say those words and the unneeded item in your bag magically evaporates and the money instantly appears in your account? Or do you have to wait for the cashier to scan the receipt, then open the bag, pull out the item you don't want, explain that you would like to return it, and then sit there waiting for the cashier to go through the return process? Yeah, sounds just as efficient as right clicking on the cart icon, opening it in a new tab, and clicking the trash can button.

"I'm not wrong, you're just anti-social!" isn't a winning argument. It's also a little deranged to continually come back to a thread and scan it for comments you can rage on. For someone who is such a social butterfly, you sure don't seem to have anything better to do with your time.

Take things completely out of context much?? BTW, it isn't "less work" to find another item to add to the order and then cancel it at the store. It's just another option (that's built right into company policies).

If you had ever done this (or at the very least, were paying attention and not just making wrong assumptions), you'd know that what you're describing isn't the procedure at the store. Once again (please pay attention this time)....You ask the pick-up person to cancel the other item. They then go to their computer screen and tap a few buttons (10-15 seconds), delete the unwanted item, and hand you the item(s) that you want to keep. Yeah, that is all! The purchase isn't processed to your credit card until the pick-up is processed at the store. No refund is required.

Not "easier". Just different. Perhaps it's "easier" for people who prefer to interact as little as possible with others (aka, a social disorder). For those, I'd recommend living on the computer/phone and having everything delivered (and then avoiding the delivery person).
There's nothing wrong with suggesting an alternative option, but indicating that people who'd prefer to use the more efficient method are mentally ill and generally being condescending over the course of half a dozen posts makes you an asshole. (Wasting random people's time due to incompetency/laziness on your end makes you one, too.)

There is always going to be a dummy who can't figure it out.

Not everyone here is 25 years old and tech savvy, the 🖥️ computer is easier for all ages, it is easy on the phone 🤳 too.

You do whatever silliness you want to, I am in my warm car waiting for my order in the pick up parking 🅿️ in a snow storm.

A suggestion....if you're incapable of clearly understanding someone's points, I'd suggest that you refrain from submitting impulsive, inappropriate responses. Avoiding certain social situations is not a "mental illness". Many individuals prefer minimal social interactions (and therefore find excuses, such as relying upon a computer hack vs. having to interact more with others in person). I'm not "generally being condescending". I'm responding to others (such as yourself) who, themselves are clearly being condescending. Calling someone an "a**hole", for the sake of inappropriate insults (and/or in an attempt to score points here) isn't a "waste of people's time"? Insulting me for the purpose of proving nothing isn't "condescending"? Accusing me of being "lazy" (when it's actually more ambitious to follow my suggestions vs. relying upon a keyboard hack) isn't a clear indication of "incompetence" (as it's a complete contradiction)?

It seems that they only stock the Walgreens brand, flexible fabric, 30 count, $1.79/BOGO (50%)

The OP is using a directed website link to get paid for each purchase made through slick deals. Be cautious of that
