I use these as daily walkers and adore them. I have a Morton's neuroma that made my old nikes not work so well for long walks (4+ miles); these work great. Other Hoka have not worked well for me, and I think the difference in these is the squishy Profly sole. However, the folks saying these wear out fast are correct. I've been through a new pair about every 10-12 months since I started wearing them.

A lot of hate on Hoka here. As someone with severe arthritis pain in my ankle, they allowed me a ton of relief and the ability to walk somewhat normal. To me, they aren't over priced for how they helped me specifically
