Eww. Every single specification and each component is at the bottom of its class. Each one. Plus, each component classification was considered old and near obsolete about 3-5 years ago.

Given the above, add that it's "used". It's not refurbished. You can't refurbish an old used laptop. Desktops you can.

Yes, Woot is good for stuff like this. No one else would want to try to push them out. You can put these on craiglist for $100 and no one would probably touch them. But on Craigslist, at least you'd be able to see it before giving them your money. Not with Woot. The photo is of a new laptop. Don't expect your used laptop to look like the photo.

Conversely, this is a great computer to put Ubuntu or whatever distro on and give to a child you hate.

Seriously? DDR5 was released in July of 2020, and is the current best spec. DDR6 isn't expected to roll out until 2026. The N100 was released in January of 2023. 802.11ax 2x2 is the current best WiFi standard. Windows 11 Pro was released in October 2021, and is the current best MS operating system. To say that all these were obsolete 3-5 years ago is an outright lie. So EWWW go crap on someone else's thread; on mine you'll get pushback for your lies.

Others may disagree, but I don't think 4GB is enough for Windows 11 in 2024. Especially given that the IGPU has to use some of that as well, leaving even less for the rest of the system to use. EMMC storage is also...not great and is pretty slow. 64GB of storage is passable but barely.

The N100 is actually a pretty stout CPU and compares favorably to 6th/7th gen Intel CPUs. For example, the N100 benchmarks closely to the 6440HQ, a 45W quad core from back in the day: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/comp...-i5-6440HQ . But the limited RAM and EMMC storage really are going to let you down and bottle neck the rest of the system. I'm also not a fan of 768P screens, but they are still useable for basic tasks.

I purchased a used HP laptop with 8GB and a Ryzen 2500U from eBay for about this price. IMO, that's a much better buy and more usable than this laptop. I wouldn't use this Dell as-is for Windows, but maybe a good candidate for a Linux distro...assuming Linux software has compatible drivers with newer CPU and chipset...

Absolute terrible deal. You can find any number of definitively better options through Dell's own refurbished site using their always rotating sales and coupons.
