Need it to come with 2 friends
Just fyi, i just measured my individual theater chairs from Sams Club (from about 6 years ago) and the (inside armrest to inside armrest) width is right at 24" so these are the same width. I'm a big guy and fit nicely (can only say width wise since i dont have these costco ones).
$1500 can buy you 2 at the same time

I am also interested in knowing if we can combine 2 of the seats together and take the center armrest out? Has anyone done that?

This sounds awesome. I really love good bass so you got me considering the shaker upgrade before surround sounds and Atmos.
It is something that not many go through the efforts to install, though I'd say the impact it has on movies and games is likely equal to or more impactful then adding a subwoofer that doesn't go as deep or move as much air as you like. Also, at lower volumes it just seems like there is so much more there. I am a fan of atmos etc. as well, though I almost think "Feeling" the movies and games might be more immersive if you are upgrading in stages. Plus it's rather cool to show your friends.

I've had these for a long time (since the first season of Game of Thrones)

As I've upgraded throughout the years, these have always been standouts. I've moved them from a Costco couch (which is still working) to Costco HT chairs. One of Zayne has issues reclining. I had to replace two within a week in store. I've only had them for two years. I'm probably going to return my three and give these chairs a shot. Major pain in the butt
I'd highly recommend trying out the Earthquake MQB-1's if you get a chance.

They are essentially subwoofer motors without the cones, are incredibly resilient from all research I've done, and I've read that they are more accurate. I don't have experience with the ones you shared, but I can attest that the MQB1's do a kickass job and will boogie on down to about 5-10hz

I'll count myself lucky for grabbing a three seat set from Costco with full grain leather on all surfaces for the same price 2 years ago. The only downside then was the leather was a dark teal.

I didn't want the big squishy chairs because of the bulkiness and the way they block surround audio.
I tried to rotate through the seats so they wear evenly, but the cushioning softens more than I would like.

Any other thoughts on the chairs so far? Pros/Cons/Regrets. Thinking about jumping on these (not literally, but who knows, maybe).

I just received this set and set them up in my home theater last week. I'm very happy overall with them but have a couple minor complaints.

Pros
  • Look great, high end look and feel (smell great too if you like that new leather car interior smell)
  • Roomy and comfortable. Yes, the leather is cool to touch in the basement.
  • Very solid, well built and smooth functioning
  • Like having all the controls on the arm around the cupholder rather than down down the side of the arm or even in-between the cushions as some power recliners do
  • Memory seat position is great feature and the seat/headrest position controllability is good
  • Lighted cupholder rings
  • LED lighting (around cupholders and on front base of seats) has several color choices and three different brightness levels. They also turn off automatically after a period of dormancy.
Cons
  • Requires two core plug-in's to power the three seats (using an extension cord w/multi-outlet to combine and plug into one power outlet)
  • The LED lighting for cupholder and at the base of the seat is not independently controlled per seat. Either all LED lighting for an individual seat is all on or it's all off.
  • The 7 control buttons around the cupholder are not backlit, so in a dark room you can't see the icon that tells you what they control. Given you have lighting ringing the cupholder all around the control buttons, seems like a miss not leveraging that same light source to illuminate the control buttons themselves.
  • The LED lighting at the base of the seating casts light pollution onto the projection screen. Even at their dimmest seating, the light they cast onto the wall/screen in front of you is noticeable. I have an overhead projector and screen but I'd imagine this would be an issue with a flat panel display TV screen too from a reflection standpoint. Would be nice to be able to turn off the base LED lighting without turning off the cupholder lighting, but you can't. In order to avoid casting the lighting from the seating onto your screen, you are forced to go without your cupholder lighting. I'm considering semi-permanently covering the base LED lighting (tape over or something else that blocks it).
